»"Civil Liberties, Surveillance, and Terrorism" presentation: Friday, September 19

Roger Newman, a professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of
Journalism, will present on Civil Liberties and the War on Terror at 10 am in Howard Auditorium. This presentation is free and open to the public. Sponsered by the Honors Program.

»Who Rules America? The Great 2008 Debate: Tuesday, September 23

Come to the ELITE THEORY versus PLURALIST THEORY debate, featuring Dr. Richard Hutchinson and Dr. Jason Pigg. The debate will take place in GTM 105 at 7pm. Sponsored by the Honors Program.

»Viewing of "American Revolution": Tuesday, October 7

"American Revolution" will be shown in GTM 105 at 7pm. The movie centers around the 1968 DNC and the Chicago 10 Trial. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Honors Program.

»Presidential Debate Discussion: Tuesday, October 14

Participate in an opportunity to view and discuss the Presidential Debate in GTM 105 at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Honors Program.

»SHS Meeting: Tuesday, October 14

SHS will meet in GTM 217 at 6pm to discuss upcoming events and plan the Charity Poker Tournament. If you are volunteering or want to deal, please make sure to attend this meeting. Sponsered by SHS.

»View of "War Room": Tuesday, October 21

"War Room" will be shown in GTM 105 at 7pm. The movie details the 1992 Clinton Campaign. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Honors Program.

»SHS Charity Poker Tournament: Friday, October 24

SHS will host a charity poker tournament benefiting DART, above the student center on Friday, October 24. The buy-in will be 5 cans of food. Prizes will be awarded. Everyone is welcome to participate. SHS members are encouraged to sign up to help out as volunteers or as dealers.Time and details on registration to come. Sponsored by SHS.

»Clinton Library Field Trip: Saturday, October 25

The HIST 495 and POLS 201 Honors Seminars will tour the Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sponsored by the Honors Program.
