Senators will need to
bring nominations to the February Senate meeting for the F.Jay Taylor Foundation Undergraduate Teaching
Award. The list of prior recipients
and the award qualifications are on the web site.
-
The Executive
Committee recommended that the wording be changed on the qualification listing
to eliminate the wording “must have tenure” and replace it with “must have
taught at Louisiana Tech University for six
years.” President Reneau stated
that we could adapt the requirements as we wished. The purpose with this change was to allow instructors and
tenure-track people to apply for this teaching award.
